The lymphatic system is one of the key systems in the body therefore it is extremely important to take care of it. In case you notice any of these signs and symptoms you may suffer from overload of the lymphatic system.

– Swelling of the legs or arms
– Common allergies
– Frequent headache
– Cellulite
– Water retention
– Unexplained fatigue
– Chronic cold
– Outbreaks of dead skin or moles
– Arthritis
– Bloating and gas
– Cancer
– Wrinkled skin
– Constipation
– Eczema
– Autoimmune diseases

As you can see, the list is long and the symptoms may be due to other diseases and is not advisable to rush to conclusions about their cause.

What exactly is the lymphatic system?

The lymphatic system is part of the body and it is designed to remove cellular waste from the body. In addition, it plays an important role in the stimulation of the immune system. Lymph vessels are the main component in this system and the lymphatic fluid goes to all parts of the body.

This system is not under pressure (such as the circulatory system). It uses the  muscle contraction, so that the lymph fluid can move in the body. Lymph nodes are another important part of this system. These units are an important part of the immune system because they find, intercept and neutralize toxins and other harmful substances.

In cases of infection, the lymph nodes swell  because the body “automatically” transfer bacteria in the lymph where they must be removed with the help of white blood cells

Why do we need to purify the lymphatic system?
Lymph fluid can become thick, the lymphatic system could be overloaded after a certain period of time, this can occur for various reasons. In this case, lymphatic fluid does not move through the body in the way presumed and body waste products are not processed in the right way. If the lymphatic system is not working properly, it can become fertile soil for various infections.

Many studies have confirmed that when the lymphatic system is not working properly becomes the main reason for the development of cancer because cells from the primary tumor may be trapped in the lymph nodes or lymphatic vessels and to dissipate in other parts of the body.
The good news is that the daily purification of the lymphatic system  or at least regularly can prevent the appearance of cellulite, chronic inflammation, digestive problems, fatty deposits, water retention and degenerative diseases.

How can we improve the condition of the lymphatic system?

1. Brush  the skin – take a brush with natural hair and use it to brush the skin starting from the hands and legs going to the heart  by making a circular motion. This will improve lymph flow, stimulates blood circulation and purify the lymphatic system through the skin.

2. Purifying alkaline diet – stop eating processed junk food, drink more water, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables every day and include a lot of fiber and omega-3 fats in your diet.

3. Exercise – any physical activity stimulates lymph flow, but the practice of light exercise such as brisk walking and yoga for example, works best.

4. Deep breathing – proper breathing is another important thing that will not only improve lymph flow (by improving blood circulation and oxygen flow), but will also help you get rid of stress, which is one of the main reasons for compromising lymph flow. Stress generates toxins that must be eliminated through the lymphatic system.

5. Massage – tense muscles can interfere with lymph flow. With the help of massage you can relieve tension and improve the work of the lymphatic system.

6. Recipe for purification of the lymphatic system – when you are bathing use a dry brush to massage the skin. Add one cup of baking soda, one cup of epsom salt and about 20 drops of essential oil of grapefruit in the tub.
Immerse your body in hot water for about 30 minutes. Try to stay in hot water (as hot as you can stand it).
Once the procedure is completed, drink about 500 ml of water (room temperature) with lemon squeezed into it.
